MATHS WEEK
This was an excellent week of Maths Activities both in the class and whole school organised activities.
ASB Getwise Session
Aime, a Superhero from the ASB came and told the children about needs and wants.
Lots of great discussion was had by all
Here we are playing probability games with dice
House of Bricks
Working with Lego to make different Maths concepts.
The children were put in groups with Room 7. There were three stations.
1 - making numbers 0 - 20 out of Lego and then making a hundreds, tens and ones place value model.
2 - making algebra patterns
3 - measurement - tall, taller, tallest; wide, wider, widest
